Relationships in ministry must be experienced at all times as charitable and safe; therefore, the following Code of Ethics (“Code”) has been adopted by the Diocese of Portland. All public and private conduct of Church Personnel can inspire and motivate people or it can undermine the faith of people. Church Personnel must, at all times, be aware of the responsibilities that accompany their work. They must also know that God's goodness and grace support them in their ministry.
