This holiday weekend, as many of us prepare to enjoy a “normal” holiday for the first time in several years, I can’t help but think of the many people whose lives were forever changed by the pandemic, who may never be able to return to “normal”, especially those who paid a heavy price for their labor. This Labor Day I want to remind everyone that our “normal” has come at the expense of the labor of many essential workers, first responders, doctors and nurses, and many others who worked over the past two years or more of the pandemic. It is good to be reminded of their efforts and sacrifices and to pray for them specifically. Click here to read the entire post.
