Fr. Hyacinth arrived at St. Brendan the Navigator Parish in February 2017. He was born in Cameroon in central Africa on May 15, 1977, and ordained a priest on March 27, 2008 for the Diocese of Kumbo, Cameroon. He studied at St. Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary in Bambui and graduated Cum Laude Probatus. He speaks five languages including English and French! He served as a parish priest in Jakiri, Tabenken and in Sabongari. And before coming to St. Brendan, he was the Principal of St. John Bosco Catholic Comprehensive College for three years in Ngarum (a school for ages 9 through high school). We are blessed to have him in Maine and will post homilies and teachings at this page, periodcially.
